I have always worked at a Farmers Market. In London there are over 22 farmers markets. This is where food is grown and brought to market. No imports allowed. The olive man has to stay on the prorifery of the market.
I gave up working on the markets a few years ago when I was in the last year of my education degree.
I needed the weekend to enable me to finish reports, research and essay writing, whilst working full time.
Funny though, my daughter then took over the mantle, and she became a farmers market person. For the same farm as I had worked.
Yesterday, as happens weekly, she brought home the seasonal fruit and veg.
To top it off I am really interested in eating alkaline and not acid. More to come on this…
