I love my bed

Something I was taught very young. My grandparents, who I grew up with, loved this phrase.

My daughter doesn’t like it when I go to bed early. “Mum, it’s only 7 O’clock”… She is currently, furloughed. Lucky her?

Another day ahead… With teaching, a career I came late to, in the traditional sense, although I was always a teacher in essence. It is only my first year out of the shackles of the training label and what a year to start. ✨

There is so much we do as educators around the whole teaching process, it blows my mind. It is never ending. That’s not a complaint that’s an observation.

Who knew what teaching involved? Not me!

I come from a corporate background with Retail in the 80’s and 90’s. Where companies spent money like water and everything was boy buy buy. Do you remember MFI? 13 years I worked there and loved every till experience, every warehouse thrill, every hotel stay. It was fun in the day.

I educate, I watch films, I observe. I observed myself 'sitting at my computer' putting on the pounds. This is my journey to move more, lose weight and transform into a healthy, not scraping my feet on the ground sovereign being.
