Alarm set for 5am. Woke with a jump. Realised. I had slept with the window closed, prefer it open but it was cold last night.
The other morning I set off to work and it was 2 degrees. Glove and hat weather, until you get walking a pace.
Yes it’s not enough to stroll. You have to get your heart rate up. I’ll be practically running soon. Well I won’t, because I’m not a fan of running. I used to be. I was in the county long distance running team. My friend and I would practice running up to the white horse and round, so I could run but my mind says no.
In fact my sister in law has just started ‘couch to 5k’ but has ended up hurting her knees. I say, walk more.
I’m leaving soon, gotta shower and get going. For my breakfast I have a coffee with some MCT oil in, (vegan). Apparently, it’s a fabulous thing, food source and energy giver plus brain power. Certainly feels good and I’m not hungry.
Second week of walking to work… I’ll fill you in later. Have a good day. Listen to the song I put on, turn it up and dance around. It’s a feel good song.
I forgot to say that at the end of my walk to the heath yesterday I had walked 20,000 steps. Great.
Today I am on the bus going home. I had already walked 16,000 to and during the school day. So I hopped the bus. Plus it was the first day back at school and we stayed behind to finish off our planning.
It was a 5 pm finish after a 7.30 am start. Not complaining but I decided to catch the bus home.
